How to incorporate our favorite Fall 18 trends in your closet.
It's that time of the year again, when the cool breeze of autumn brushes against your skin and the reality hits...layering season is here.
To say the autumn/winter 2018 fashion trends are really tempting is a massive understatement.
The style team at mystylechest are excited to give you a sneak peak of the trends you can expect to see in coming months. You have mostly already seen some of the key ones hit the stores already.
Of all the trends you can expect to see, expect this to shout out from the rooftops. Animal print prowled over all the key runways across London, NYC, Paris and new New York.
Leopard-print coats and leopard-print shoes will undoubtedly be the two most prevalent ways this trend presents itself on the high street, but there's an abundance of snake and python patterns, zebra, cheetah, faux-croc—some of which come in classic, neutral tones however some designers incorporated more wild and wonderful multi coloured versions. Just ask Tom Ford and his racy red leopard print–clad ladies. To say this look isn't for the faint hearted is an understatement so we have incorporated simpler ways to rock this look yet remain classic.
Here are some of our leopard print inhouse favorites.

Ruching is the gathering of a strip of fabric that then causes a ripple effect. The technique started in the '80s, and fashion houses are bringing it back for fall 2018. We love this look because it looks so good on multiple body types. The gathering hits at the right place on your body, hugging where you want to be hugged. Not to mention the ruching adds a fun texture to an otherwise plain dress or top.

Why choose one favourite coat for the new season, when you could wear seven? That seemed to be the theme at Balenciaga, Simone Rocha, Missoni and more. Looks came with an abundance of layers. Blanket throws, jackets, capes and waterproofs all now go together. In real life, you might want to simplify the styling by just adding a thick coat over a thinner one in a contrasting colour or add a pair of pants under your shirt dress.
